“GI Bill”: Lead Gen Update

Schools and lead generators that have been monitoring governmental activity around marketing to the Military community should now be aware that the trademark for “GI Bill” has been successfully registered with U.S. Patent and Trademark Office by the Dept. of Veteran’s Affairs (the “VA”).

Google should be concerned…

Google’s largest advertiser, University of Phoenix,  is a for-profit school that is very concerned about Title IV compliance. According to search marketing firm WordStream, UoP spends $200k a day or $73M a year advertising with Google. How concerned should Google be about letting non-compliant lead sellers jeopardize UoP’s Title IV status by running non-compliant search ads on Google? I would say they should be very concerned.
