PerformLine Launches Social Media Monitoring
Last week during COMPLY2019, we announced the addition of our fifth channel of coverage, Social Media Compliance Monitoring, to our compliance platform. Now, companies using PerformLine can monitor their consumer interactions across the web, contact centers, chats, email and social media using one centralized platform.
With more than 3.4 billion active social media users across the globe, it’s never been more critical for enterprises to monitor their brand across social media channels for regulatory and brand compliance, especially in the light of guidelines and enforcements handed down by regulators like the FTC, CFPB, FINRA and the FCA.
Using the PerformLine platform, enterprises now have automated discovery and monitoring of their brand on social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. PerformLine discovers and filters brand specific social media content, and then by utilizing the platform’s proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) driven rules engine, it identifies and scores the tweets, posts, reposts, mentions and shares for potential regulatory compliance violations or brand marketing abuses.
We’re excited that PerformLine customers can now monitor and remediate the social media posts from their:
- Internal marketing teams
- Independent agent networks
- Partners
- Paid influencers
Social Media Compliance is such an important topic that we dedicated an entire session to discussing the power and perils of Social Media at COMPLY2019. We brought together social experts Tania Yuki from Shareablee, Sandy Brown from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Dipayan Gupta from New York Life, Marc Yudkin from VaynerX and Rebecca Griffith formerly of Unilever to discuss why social media can magnify compliance risk and what can be done to mitigate that risk. Sandy Brown emphasized that all organizations should make sure to adhere to the FTC’s disclosures and endorsement guidance (something easily done using the automated monitoring that PerformLine provides).
At PerformLine, we’re continually driven to scale our platform to help brands meet their compliance and brand obligations across all of their consumer interaction channels. Now with the addition of Social Media Monitoring, enterprises using our platform have that first line of defense they were in need of to ensure their marketing, sales or partners’ posts meet their brand and regulatory guidelines.
